Abstract

The article addresses the issue of outdated contact email addresses in scientific publications, which obstructs effective scientific communication and the reproducibility of research findings. Possible solutions are discussed, including the mandatory use of institutional email addresses, their forwarding, and integration with online identifiers such as ORCID. The authors emphasize the need for strict journal policies to improve the transparency and sustainability of contact data. Particular attention is paid to solutions that can improve the interaction between authors and readers of research articles.
